OMG, I finally settled things with the futon shop. Or better Visa refunded my money. Nine months of hassles are over. I can finally take this piece of crap to the dump.

I can finally buy the futon I saw from another company back in November.

But the choice is really between two type of frames. I can't use a standard futon frame. The width would be 86 inches. I don't have space for a futon that wide. That is why I bought the love seat style. It opens front to back, so the wall space is the width of a queen size bed and not the length of the queen size bed.

So style one is a split mattress. 2/3 of the mattress is on the sofa frame. The other 1/3 is laid on a separate ottoman. The other is a tri-fold A frame. The A frame is a very simple style.

The ottoman can be set up so that it is used as a coffee table. I can get a piece of glass or wood to lay on the ottoman frame during the day when I am not sleeping. I am leaning towards the ottoman.
